National Mission on Horticulture has been allocated ₹2,300 crores in 2017-18, 44% more than 2016-17 (₹1,600 crores). However, the horticulture production of the country rose marginally by 0.3% from 286 million tonnes in 2015-16 to 287 million tonnes in 2016-17.
