Lok Sabha is composed of representatives of the people chosen by direct election on the basis of adult suffrage. It is called the House of the People or the Lower House of Parliament.
To become a member of the Lok Sabha, a person should be a citizen of India, not less than 25 years of age and possess such other qualifications as may be prescribed by or under any law made by Parliament of India. The Speaker and the Deputy Speaker are the Presiding Officers of the Lok Sabha. Source: Election Commission of India
