Mysore Paints and Varnish Limited is a company located in the city of Mysore, India. It is the only company in India authorised to produce indelible ink, which is used in elections to prevent people from voting multiple times.
It was established during 1937 by Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar, then the Maharaja of Mysore province under the nomenclature “Mysore Lac & Paint Works Ltd”. During 1989, it was renamed as “Mysore Paints & Varnish Limited."
